Horizonte Instruction and Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, has a history dating back to 1970 when it was established as part of the Salt Lake City School District. It originally opened as an alternative high school to serve students who needed a different educational environment or specialized support services. Over the years, Horizonte has evolved to offer a wide range of programs and services, including adult education, career and technical training, and English language classes for immigrants and refugees. Horizonte continues to play a vital role in providing educational opportunities to diverse communities in the Salt Lake City area.
