Welcome to the Horizonte Counseling Center’s Web Page!
The Counseling Center is a space where you can find the resources and support you need to navigate your high school years and prepare for your future. We care about every student and want to create the best school experience possible for all students. We understand that high school can be a challenging time, but we're here to help you every step of the way.
Dear Horizonte Families,
Welcome to our school community! We are so glad you are here.
As your school counselors, our goal is to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and understood, they are empowered to thrive—both in and out of the classroom.
We work closely with students, families, teachers, and staff to:
· Support academic planning and goal setting
· Foster social and emotional well-being
· Teach coping, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
· Provide short-term counseling and crisis support
· Connect families with school and community resources
We understand that each child is unique, and we are committed to meeting students where they are while helping them grow into confident, capable learners. Strong partnerships with families are essential to student success, and we encourage you to reach out with questions, concerns, or updates about your child.
We look forward to collaborating with you and supporting your student throughout the school year!
Warmly, The School Counseling Team
