School-based therapy for students through Odyssey House -
Just like at a job, you should let us know when you’re going to miss school. Every absence should be excused. To excuse an absence, you should do the following:
- Email horizonte.attendance@slcschools.org or call 801-578-8574 with your name, student number, and reason for absence.
- Email the teacher(s) whose class(es) you’ll miss to ask what work you missed and how to make it up.

- Checking grades and attendance
- Teachers update grades in PowerSchool every Thursday night.
- Email your teachers right away if you notice any issues with your grades or attendance!
